After the rhinoplasty surgery, a friend or a relative should escort the rhinoplasty patient home. The rhinoplasty patient needs to keep the head elevated for several days following the plastic surgery in order to minimize the swelling.
The plastic surgery patient should avoid any medications such as Vitamin E, aspirin or Abu profane for two to three weeks after the rhinoplasty surgery.
The rhinoplasty patients should avoid any kind of strenuous physical activities for two to three weeks after the plastic surgery. The recuperating period for the rhinoplasty patients is seven to fourteen days during which some degree of bruising and swelling may be present.
