Although bathrooms are becoming increasingly streamlined, by choice most people would like a bathroom the size of a bedroom rather than a cupboard to languish in at the end of a long tiring working day. Therefore the bathroom is fast becoming one of the most popular rooms in the house.
Although bathrooms are becoming increasingly streamlined, by choice most people would like a bathroom the size of a bedroom rather than a cupboard to languish in at the end of a long tiring working day. Therefore the bathroom is fast becoming one of the most popular rooms in the house. Any bathroom furniture chosen has to reflect this contemporary desire for luxurious bathing.

There are now selections of mirrors, cupboards, cabinets and combinations of all three that provide an injection of elegance and simplicity into even the most petite of bathrooms. One of the most recent innovations is reminiscent of an Edwardian wash stand, yet is well and truly 21st century. It can bring together a large illuminated mirror, glass shelving, integral washbasin and underneath cupboards and thereby create a central focus point of elegance to the room. Other matching corner cabinets, wall cupboards, tall stand alone and back to back WC units, can all serve to create a unified look to your bathroom.

At present these stand alone and fitted bathroom cabinets are usually manufactured in white along with minimalist current tastes in bathroom and kitchen design. They are also usually made of laminated materials because of the damp atmosphere in most bathrooms which gives them a somewhat clinical appearance.

However, there is no denying their functionality and as owning a large selection of bath products becomes increasingly popular, it follows that storage of this kind will be needed to house them. Firms such as Boundary Bathrooms and Hib bathroom furniture specialists have all the necessary skills to soak up this demand.
