Getting rid of spyware and adware is easier said than done. These programs can infiltrate your computer without your knowledge.
Is your computer slower than when it was new? Is your browser peppered with pop-up ads even when your pop-up blocker is on? Does your browser’s setting “magically” changes without you knowing how and why? If these signs are evident then it might be that your computer is infected by malware – more commonly known as adware and spyware.

Getting rid of spyware and adware is easier said than done.  These programs can infiltrate your computer without your knowledge. They are there quietly running in the background while they do their bit.  For the most part, adware is not really malicious. The program just wants to “advertise” its product and maybe get your browsing habit all for the sake of better marketing tactics. Spyware is malicious. It can steal your identity and your money.  Both however can slow down your computer to the point of even crashing your whole computer system.  They cannot be found in the add/remove programs of your control panel.

How do you get rid of spyware and adware?  You have to disconnect from the internet when trying to rid of adware and spyware. It would do you no harm if you try to uninstall the malwares. There are some software that are labeled spyware and adware but are nevertheless listed in the add/remove programs. Try this route first. If the suspected software is listed, try deleting it first.  If it works, great! Reboot the computer and this time get yourself a reliable adware spyware removal tool to avoid future infection.

If simply deleting the program does not work, check your current antivirus software to see if it includes protection from adware and spyware.  If it does not, download spyware scan for you to find out if you have adware and spyware. Scan your computer using the spyware scan. If you do find out that your computer is infected then it would be best to read spyware reviews for the best spyware and adware removal tool.

There are free spyware detection and removal programs in the net. However most of these softwares are only good for a limited trial period. If you plan on finally buying stand-alone spyware software make sure you get the best spyware removal.
