Technical equipment found in a recording studio

A recording studio is usually an enclosed space or room where a recording artist or musical group can manipulate and record music, vocals or other sound compositions.

This is generally done with the assistance of a range of technical support people including sound engineers, producers and mastering engineers.
Each one has their own specific role in the recording process and each person is responsible for and operates their own sets of machinery and equipment.

• Multi track recorders allow for the separation of simultaneous voice or music recordings and these can be separated and refined

• Other pieces of equipment can include monitors and loud speakers, music workstations and a variety of musical instruments
