The Florida Keys is a beautifully relaxed place to visit. For those on a short one day holidays to Florida Keys these would be recommended places to go to for memorable experiences.
The
Florida Keys is a popular destination especially for cruisers since several
stops are made there so knowing the places to visit in the limited time
available is a must if you want to make the most of the day.
There
are many documented top attractions to visit if you are stopping off in Key
West such as snorkelling, diving and fishing however there are some hidden gems
worth sharing with you all.
Where
to visit
Boat
trips are a must, while snorkelling is fun too; it is highly recommended you take
a trip to Dry Tortugas, while it's not cheap at around $150 per person it is
absolutely worth every cent. You can see the amazing wildlife including the
amazing turtles and other wildlife as well as the beautiful scenery.
The
Pirate Soul Museum is next and as you might expect a great place to go to in
the Florida keys to keep the kids amused and maybe even dad. It is the home of
the largest collection of pirate artefacts and unlike the usual notices found
in museums of please don't touch! You will find the opposite here.
Another
hidden beauty is Nancy Forrester's Secret Garden. Keeping with the name, it can be difficult to
locate however when you do find it you will find a blend of palm trees and many
parrots.
This
one is a bit different. How would you like to become a member of the Conch
republic? You will receive a passport and after visiting you will learn
fascinating stories including how they use the passports.
These
are a small collection of places worth visiting whether your holidays in Florida Keys are two weeks or just for a day drop off from a
cruise holiday.
