Parties are fun and exciting and need not cost the earth. Hiring a marquee will save on the cost of the venue, but if you don’t want to lose your lawn to all those stilettos, adding a portable floor is another good idea.

Parties are not only exciting and fun, but they play an important social part in almost every culture. That is why when you throw a party you want everything to go without a hitch. It is wise to plan everything carefully and start well ahead of the date so that you won’t find everything already booked for someone else’s party.

The most important part of a party - apart from the guests – is the venue. A party of any size cannot fit into the average home; however, since venues are expensive and not always available, marquee hire is a popular alternative.  Many marquees can fit in a large backyard, and so save a great deal on the cost of the party.

But don’t be caught out with temperamental weather. If there should be a sudden deluge – or even just a shower of rain just before your party, having many guests trampling around the backyard and into the marquee will guarantee lots of mud. Mud squishes readily through pantyhose, but does not come out so quickly. To save your guests the embarrassment of muddy toes be sure to order marquee flooring too.

Portable flooring will give a stable surface in the wettest weather and you can place floor mats at the entry points if the weather should be inclement. The other benefits are that it will provide a level surface that will prevent any turned ankles should a guest tread in a hole the dog just dug. It will also save your lovely lawn from being trodden into the ground.

The next most important thing for your party is event furnishings. Depending on the kind of party you are having, you may need seating for some or all of the guests, tables for dining or just for serving drinks and nibbles from, and adding a potted fern, palm or shrub will give a nice decorative touch. With these three things sorted out, you’ll be sure to have the greatest party ever. For more details visit at www.nofusssolutions.com.au
