Set it deep enough into the hole.

Support the stake in place as you fill the hole with soil again.

When you're done back filling it with soil, tamp it with your foot. After that put in more soil and tamp it once again. This will ensure  you that the lighting stake is firmly in place.

Step 6: Properly hold the pole-mounted fixture in its place, against the post or a wall.

Use a pencil to mark the screw holes.

Pre-drill the holes.

Use an electric drill screwdriver to screw the bracket into place.

Connect the fixture to the bracket and tighten it well.
