The best gifts are always gifts of memorable experiences. In Sydney, the best and the most memorable experience has always been a Sydney Harbour Cruise!

The best gifts are always gifts of memorable experiences. In Sydney, the best and the most memorable experience has always been a Sydney Harbour Cruise!

Gifts are tokens of the love and care the giver of the gift has for the receiver. They are given away on special occasions, on special days, during celebrations, for specific reasons and for no reason whatsoever! The occasion may be special or not, but gifts are always special. They are special in that the receiver is more often a special person for the giver, or else, the receiver has earned some kind of recognition for which the gift is being given.

Gifts being tokens of love or recognition, they have to be selected with utmost care. As anybody who has bought a gift for someone at least once in his or her life knows, a lot of factors come into play while selecting a gift - the age of the receiver, the gender, the preferences and the taste, the appearance (if the gift is a wearable one), the need, etc. etc.

All of the above factors can make the buying of a gift a chore or a pleasure! It becomes a chore when endless search does not result in finding the ideal gift for that special person for just that special occasion. It becomes a pleasure when you hit a number of right choices for the right person for the right occasion! More often than not the selection of a gift turns out to be a tedious procedure leaving you doubtful whether you have made a good choice at all even after you have made the purchase! This most assuredly takes some of the joy away from the whole process of gift-giving!

One way to make sure that you are buying the right gift is to take the person along while making the purchase. However, this discounts the surprise factor which should be the most essential element in any gift. Without the surprise factor, there is obviously no fun in receiving a gift! And without the element of surprise where is the romance in a romantic gift?

However, having said it all, there is one sure-fire way to make sure that you are giving the right gift! And that is by giving away a gift certificate in place of a gift that you always thought wouldn’t have been the right one anyway!

A gift certificate is most certainly the only choice in cases where you are not sure who the receiver of the gift is going to be. For example, if you are holding a contest and you don’t know who the winner is going to be, or if you are conducting a lucky draw and the lucky one’s name is not yet announced. Or perhaps you are planning to give away gifts as a formality to guests, associates or invitees whose preferences you are not familiar with.

In Sydney, the best choice for a gift would be a gift certificate for a spectacular Sydney Harbour Cruise! There are lunch and dinner cruises on catamarans and showboat cruises on authentic paddlewheelers! All of them provide great menus and fantastic views of the harbour! The showboat provides live dance and magic shows also in addition to the five-star menu and spectacular views!

And what’s more, all the elements of fun, surprise, joy, romance and style remain intact - undiffused and undiluted!
