India being a vast country
has plenty to offer the eager traveller. In fact there are so many tourist
places in India
that they cater to almost any holiday type. You could choose from a variety of
themes ranging from wildlife, to beaches, adventure, heritage and leisure.
There are custom made tours available for all of these.
Some of the best destinations
As
mentioned earlier, India
does have a lot to offer people who visit. There are places to visit in India for every
theme. If you are looking for beaches you can try the famous beaches of Goa or some of the quieter beaches down south. If you are
looking for culture and heritage you can visit the forts and palaces in
Rajasthan or the heritage sites of Hampi and Badami in the south. If a wildlife
adventure is what you are looking for you could consider the various national
parks all over the country. And for those of you who prefer the hills, India has
plenty of hill stations to visit too.
Destination holidays
If
you’d rather spend your holiday in a particular destination then there are
plenty of destination places to visit in India as well. Rajasthan, Kerala
and Goa are probably the most popular ones. If
you decide on Rajasthan you will be exploring the world of the Rajputs, their
forts and palaces and the way they lived. Kerala offers you variety from the
backwaters to the beaches, wildlife sanctuaries and hill stations. Goa too has its share of attractions, however most people
go there for the beach.
Holiday
options in the North
Rajasthan
is not the only place that you can visit in the north. There are many other
tourist places in North India too. All of
these can be accessed from Delhi
with no trouble at all. You could visit the holy cities of Varanasi
and Amritsar.
You can also make your way up to the Himalayas
and its towns. The places that you can cover depend completely on the amount of
time you have at hand.
