The level 2 course material primarily deals with basic awareness of general food safety issues, good hygiene and meets any and all governmental regulations. It's perfect for cooks and chefs who are looking to advance in their fields and or move on to a managerial position in both the public and private sector. (restaurants, hospitals, prisons, etc)

Today's food handling and safety training instructors and course operators have targeted an expanding need for more effective Food Safety Coursework that relates to specific working environments. Learning material that more directly reflects real world food safety issues and qualifications as they relate to the industry in general.

As a general rule level 1 would be for entry level positions and the other three award levels will be required as you move up in your respective career. You must have them.

The level 2 program takes a day to complete. However; be aware that other relevant food handing courses will be made available to you. These post graduate programs are not required by law but they do come with a certificate upon successful completion. Also a level 2 certificate is good for three years from your completion date and must be renewed upon expiration.
