<P>The Kangaroo Island Sea Link-Sea Link operates the Sealion 2000 and the Spirit of Kangaroo Island which are two large and luxurious vehicle and passenger ferries that run between Cape Jervis and Penneshaw. You have to book in advance and is a comfortable ride of around 45 minutes. From there on you can connect to a coach connection to a number of specified destinations.</P>

 

<p>• By Air</P>

 

<P>The Regional Express (REX) and Air South operate a 30-minute flight from Adelaide to Kingscote Airport (KGC). The airport is located around 13km from the Island's capital, Kingscote.  You also get shuttle transport to Kingscote. Bookings are necessary.</P>

 

<p>• By car</P>

 

<P>You can get your vehicle to the mainland via the ferry which is a good idea if you are thinking of driving yourself around the towns. You can even hire a car from Kingscote or Penneshaw or the airport as well.</P>
