Choosing the career and its further adaptation requires enormous efforts. The main stages and hardships of the process of choice are presented in the article.

It is acknowledged that choosing the career is the next stage of our life that can shape our future. However, some graduators are puzzled pertaining to what profession to choose. Therefore, it is necessary to observe certain rules when indulging in the process of selecting the career.

  Consistent stages of career planning:

1. Education

Certainly, education is the basic step for narrowing your choice. Therefore, before choosing the college, it is necessary to think over the future profession and imagine what a person should do after graduating from the college. Remember that your choice should be guided by future perspectives but not by the desire to study at a prestigious establishment.

2. Testing

When the process of study is behind, the next stage will be dedicated to psychological comprehension of career goals and ambitions. Hence, it is desirable to pass several psychological tests to define your professional fitness and its correlation to your aspirations. In case both components coincide, you should not waste your time thus submitting all the documents when applying for a particular job.

3. Applying and dismissing

Once your choice is defined, start working and try your skills and abilities in this sphere. In the beginning of your career choosing, you may change several professions, as the only way to find your destination is to commit your skills to practice. Do not be afraid to be fired, it is an explicit sign that this profession is not for you.

4. Gaining experience

This is the final stage of career adaptation. While working, a person acquires precious capabilities and new talents that might have been hidden before. The miracle of practice generates some reserved resources of your organism and charges you with new creative ideas.

As you can see, the process of career choosing and adaptation is rather complicated and consistent. However, this is the only way to cognate your essence and gifts.
