Photography is not just a snap of a camera.  It requires a lot of skills and equipments.  Professional Photographers who join in this kind of photo contest are being challenged to enhance their skill in this type of photography.

 Aerial Photography is shots from a camera not from the ground.  It can be taken with the help of remote controllers or when the photographer is at the peak of the area to get the right perspective.  Rarely do photographers make an Astrophotography.  This is considered to be work of professional photographers where telescopes are needed to capture the celestial body of Astronomy.  Challenging in fact, Astronomers use Digital Photography to capture perfectly the moving galaxies.

Forensic Photography is a serious job.  It details information of scene and lenses and its angles.  Shots of this kind should present different viewpoints to solve the mystery.  Using the expensive Infrared Film with its array filter is needed for Infrared Technology.  Nowadays, photographers can take advantage of the digital camera with capability to shoot this type of photos.  Many are confused with aural photography and Kirlian Photography, object touching photo plates connected to high voltages are definitely not an aural photo.  It may look like one but it is totally different.  Paranormal or Aural Photography includes methods of spiritual photography.  It is an attempt to provide evidence on paranormal existence.

Stereoscopic 3-Dimensional Photography involves simultaneously shots of the same object to create that the effect.  These shots are called stereo pair.  There are several methods to achieve such 3-dimensional effect.  If you often had camera shake when taking pictures, you might want to convert it to the “Wiggle” method in which both images are taken but should be followed by another quickly to create the alternate shot.  Finally, the photography that emits Ultra violet light to illuminate its subject accompanied by special techniques to achieve a perfect shot is called Ultra Violet Photgraphy.
