Resolve FAT and NTFS dynamic partition loss issue in an efficient way using result oriented Undelete software.

Human error is inevitable and happens to everyone using computers. Either deliberately or mistakenly, errors are bound to occur plus the data loss like situations. You may accidentally delete a hard drive partition or some critical files, without realizing how important it was. But if you have deleted an NTFS (New Technology File System) or FAT32 (File Allocation Table) dynamic volumes in Microsoft Windows 2000 using Disk Management snap-in, you could land up in a problematic situation.

But you can recover the deleted partition and stored data. You can recover FAT and NTFS dynamic partitions only if the new volume hasn’t created and formatted. When Windows Disk Management snap-in removes a hard drive partition from the dynamic disk, it deletes the file system boot sector of disk volume and then deletes volume entry from Disk Management private region database, leaving rest of the disk intact. Boot sector is the sector-0 of hard drive volume. Because both FAT32 and NTFS partitions keep backup of the boot sectors, you could recover the partition by restoring boot sector and if process fails you can use effective Undelete Software .

To recover FAT and NTFS dynamic partitions, use any of the given below methods to get back lost, deleted or corrupt data.

1. For recovering NTFS partitions

a) Re-create exactly same disk partition but do not format it. It can be hard if you don’t remember exact size of the partition, particularly because Disk Management tends to the round partition sizes.

b) Recover backup boot sector of NTFS volume using Dskprobe.exe from end of partition.

c) After rewriting NTFS boot sector, close Dskprobe.exe tool.

d) Click Rescan Disk in Action menu of Disk Management. It must mount partition

for immediate use.

2. For recovering FAT32 partitions

a) Re-create exactly same disk partition but do not format it. It can be hard if you don’t remember size of the partition as Disk Management tends to round volume sizes.

b) Recover backup boot sector of FAT32 partition from the sector-6 of logical volume and write it to sector-0 using Dskprobe.exe tool.

c) After writing FAT32 boot sector, close Dskprobe.exe tool.

d) In Disk Management snap-in, click Rescan Disks in Action menu. It should mount partition for immediate use.

If above methods do not work, you can for Undelete software that is been specially designed to recover deleted files from FAT and NTFS partitions. Software thoroughly scans the logical drives for locating and reviving deleted or missing files and folders. Undelete software is very much easy to use and is laced with attractive, user friendly graphical interface. Even a non-technical person can perform the recovery of FAT and NTFS dynamic partitions and that too in few minutes. It’s advanced and prolific data recovery software.
