Thousands of NGOs are doing social service in India. Not all of them have the same target and mission, so each one of them differs in one or the other. Even then the basic goal, which is uplifting the welfare of the society, is common in all of them. They indeed are the backbone of the deprived group of people, who have no voice in the society.

India being an extremely large country has diverse ethnic groups. Not all the sections of people are well off. Billions of people are still living below the poverty line. Extreme poverty has rendered some sections of the people to even live in the slums and also by the road sides. It may sound harsh but it is the true picture of real India.

People are dying of extreme malnutrition. Many people are living in acute pains. With the funds that are gathered by some of the NGOs, these sections of demoralized people are being assisted. Children of the poor and needy parents are provided free meal and free basic education. This way they are liberating some of the kids from the fate of their acute adversity.

Free education in India is one of the main mottos for most of the NGOs that are working in the country.  With their noble service they are able to assist even the government organizations. In fact, they are able to penetrate deep into the areas which are debarred by the government of the country.

Each of the different NGOs have their own way of generating their own funds. Some of the big NGOs have their base in other countries, and some depend on the funds and charity contributed by the local people. What ever the case may be most of them are committed in using their funds for the welfare of the society.

So, NGOs in India work on the path of development for the poor and the needy persons. They are the mainstay of the torn people who have no hope of quality living.

Implementation of work done by most of them is also pretty fast when compared with the government organizations. However, all these steps for uplifting the welfare of the society will be pretty smooth if they have enough funds. Reasonable funds will allow such kind of organizations to execute their plan in a fine manner.

Most of the NGOs in India work on the basis of social service types. Before undertaking any kind of project they survey the area which they would be working for. This in turn helps them in gaining knowledge of the basic needs of the region. It is in this way most of them are helping people of different sections at different levels.

There are several NGOs in India that are working to help people who have suffered from the fate of natural disaster or from some artificial calamity.  Such kind of help-groups provide people who are facing the wrath of adversity with quality help. Either way all the India NGOs are doing good and noble work for the country.
