1. Your puppies name is the first word that should be
learned. Be sure and encouraging when using the name. You want to puppy to like
their name and associate it with feelings of being loved.
2. "No" is a word that is often over used, yet

no, you must catch them in the act of doing something that is not good. They should
connect the word no with behavior that is not appropriate.

with your puppy early on. Teaching your puppy to sit is a very basic and

7. The words "Go Lay Down" can be helpful for
puppy training when you want them to be quiet and lay in a certain area. In
order for this to work they must know where you expect them to lie down. It
should be an area where they feel safe and comfortable.

everyone in the family must be using the same words for the same behavior
expectation. As well, be sure to reward your puppy with lots of love and
