Is San Antonio the best city in Texas for a business?

San Antonio is the 7th largest city in the US but is it a good location for a business? With a thriving economy, education system and a plethora of quality office space; San Antonio could be the perfect location to put your business ahead in Texas.

 San Antonio is the second largest city in Texas and the seventh largest city in the whole of the United States. San Antonio is home to around 1.7 million residents and is well known for having lots of tourist attractions and quality commercial properties.

Due to its Southern location, San Antonio is nearly always basking in dry or humid heat, reaching 95 degrees Farenheit in August and July. This promise of almost constant good weather makes it an ideal business headquarters location for anyone who enjoys the heat.

It’s estimated around 20 million people visit San Antonio’s tourist attractions every year, making it ideal for businesses nearby. The Heny B Gonzalez Convention Centre hosts around 300 events each year, with the whole tourism industry adding an estimated $10.7 billion to San Antonio’s economy per fiscal year. Other key attractions in the area include the River Walk – this walk meanders through downtown and past numerous quality shops, bars and restaurants.  The Alamo is a former Roman Catholic mission and fortress and is easily the biggest tourist attraction in San Antonio. Other key attractions include SeaWorld and Six Flags Fiesta Texas.

San Antonio is easily one of the best places to take commercial property in Texas and is home to a number of Fortune 500 companies. San Antonio is also a great city for sport-lovers. The key team in the area is the San Antonio Spurs who play at the AT&T Centre and are part of the National Basketball Association. Other popular teams in the local area include San Antonio Rampage and San Antonio Silver Stars.
