World Cup 2010 winners Spain, obviously, top the ranks while runner-up Netherlands came in at second. Former number 1 Brazil is now at third and 2006 World Cup champions, Italy, has dropped down six places to rank at the 11th spot and France fell out of the top 20.
The teams that round up the rest of the top 10 are Germany, Argentina, Uruguay, England, Portugal, Egypt and Chile respectively.
The top 10 welcomes three new teams to its ranks with Uruguay, as their run at the world cup bolsted their rank from 16th to 6th place, Egypt, a team who did not qualify for the 2010 World Cup but ranked at the top 10 nonetheless, and Chile, one of the suprise teams to reach the top 16.
The biggest gainer would be Paraguay, who made it through to the quarterfinals, jumped up 15 places to the 16th rank.
Cameroon is singled out to be the biggest loser by far, as three straight losses in the 2010 World Cup dropped their rank from 21 all the way down to 40, something that nobody expected to see, a team who proudly features Samuel Eto'o in the roster.
