If ever there was a time when we all needed a little rest and recuperation, this time was, or is, that time. Holidaymakers looking for something a little more hands on can even opt for an “agriturismo” (yes, it means exactly what it sounds like it means: agricultural tourism) break: a Tuscan holiday where lucky guests get to stay in genuine historic Tuscan farm buildings, stupendously reincarnated as luxurious but basic rooms. Think safari lodge, but for the Italian agricultural way of life, and you’ll not be far off.  
In a modern world rent by money worries, a too fast pace of life and the unending demands of everyone on one’s time, holidays in Tuscany are more than just a nice break: they’re a godsend. Take advantage before everyone else comes too.
