How to entertain the kids on a long car journey

Kiddies battling in the back seat, screaming for attention and desperate for something to occupy their overactive imaginations is a regular occurrence for many parents attempting to make a long car journey with their children in tow.

Tell the kids about the place you are going to visit! This is an often overlooked trick that can calm the worst hyperactive child within a few moments. Tell them tales of the area, why you are going and what you will see – this will get them interested in the location.
