Setback of using Migration Wizard to migrate from Notes to PST

Now when you perform the migration process, you are able to migrate only 1500 email items. Reasons? If the size of the mailbox would have been less than 1GB, then the migration could have been successful. Similar will be the case when one of your folders contains messages more than 16000.

Microsoft is aware of this issue and claims that the reason behind all this is the limitation of Migration Wizard that occurs when you migrate from Lotus Notes database.

If you don’t wish to spend money on to safeguard you data, you can do the following:

a). Reduce the mailbox size on the Lotus Notes Server

b). Use Outlook and delete all the mail items or save them to PST file and merge the files into User mailbox with the help of Exmerge tool
