New Balance True Balance toning shoes have just been launched in the USA, and offer toning and weight loss whilst looking just like standard trainers. They promise to be a highly popular choice for women who want to give toning shoes a chance, but would prefer not to announce to the world that they are getting the extra burn.
It has taken some
time, however at long last a toning shoe has been brought to the market which
looks nothing like a toning shoe. For many women, the main problem with toning
shoes is one of style. Whilst a great deal ofwomen would be willing to give the
shoes a go to see if they help to tone, many would not like to announce the
fact that they are doing so. Most of the myriad styles of toning shoes and
toning sandals currently on the market leave a lot to be desired when it comes
to style.
As hard as designers have tried to make their shoes look attractive
and stylish, they come upon a major stumbling block when trying to hide all of
that thick EVA foam. That was, until New Balance True Balance trainers were
released this month, which break the toning shoes mould and offer a fashionable
styling and not a hint of excess EVA.
Rather than
follow the toning shoes trends and opt for a conspicuous rocker sole design, or
instability pods as used in Reebok Easytone shoes, New Balance have chosen
their own path. By starting from scratch, they have developed a design which is
easy to hide away out of sight, allowing women to get an extra toning session
without looking unstylish.
According to recent trials, New Balance True Balance
shoes help to get up to 29% more muscle activity compared to standard walking
shoes. They can also increase calorie burning by up to 10%, all without any
sign of toning technology. With the technology well hidden, New Balance have
been able to design a normal sneaker, and in doing so have produced the most
stylish toning trainers on the market. The fashionable designs are sure to be a
big hit in their own right, and with toning and weight loss properties as part
of the package, they offer the opportunity for women to tone and burn calories
without compromising their sense of fashion.
The secret to
the toning lies well hidden in the midsole of the shoes, and comprises a three
part system which activates the muscles in the calves, hamstrings, glutes and
even the quads. Closest to the foot lies a soft and flexible midsole, with a
slightly rounded outsole, and an innovative spring system sandwiched in between.
The system puts the body slightly off balance causing the muscles of the lower
body to respond to correct any imbalance. In doing so, muscles are activated
for longer and more muscle groups come into play, increasing body tone with
every step.
The toning shoes are
some of the most comfortable on the market, and feature New Balance running
shoe technology to give the same highly comfortable fit as their popular trainer
range. A seamless interior removes all potential sources of abrasion, the
weight of the shoes is kept to an absolute minimum, and the spring system
offers exceptional cushioning. All in all, it’s hard to fault New Balance True
Balance shoes, scoring close to full marks in all aspects of their design and
fit.
However
whether they prove to be effective at toning and weight loss remains to be seen.
Only after women have tried out the shoes for a few weeks to months will the
toning properties be fully put to the test. However for early purchasers, they
can rest assured that the design, style and comfort of True Balance shoes is
first rate, and that the shoes function perfectly well as everyday sneakers in
their own right.
