the machine where the Outlook Express client is installed, creation
of the user using Domino Administrator and configuration of Notes
client. Make sure that user mail database is using the Extended Mail
Template (or above), and the mail server is running the IMAP server
task.

Express to Notes i.e. DBX to NSF. This can be accomplished by
following the steps detailed in each of the following sections:
Open a Command Prompt window by
selecting Start -> Run and then type: cmd.exe
Change to the Notes Client program
directory.
Enter the following command to
launch the Upgrade Wizard: Nupgrade.exe 4
Click "Next" to continue
past the Welcome Screen.
Click "Finish" to begin
the conversion.
When prompted, enter the password
for your Notes ID file.
Specify the following information
to create an account for your Notes mail file in Outlook Express:
Account Name, User Name, IMAP Server (Domino mail server)
Click OK and then exit.
This creates a new account, which is
added at the bottom of Outlook Express main windows with name like,
“Domino Administrator”. Now select the account on the left and
click the "IMAP Folders..." button in the right pane as
shown below. a dialog box would be shown having existing folders in
the Notes mail database. Select the individual folders you would like
to make visible and click the "Show"-button. A little icon
will indicate that the folder is visible. New folders can be created
as normally in Outlook Express.
Now drag the emails from the existing
Outlook Express folders to the folders added from the mail database
or to newly created folders. You can select multiple emails at a
time.
Once you start the migration of emails
you must check for the same emails appearing in the Lotus Notes email
database. This gives you conversion of emails in DBX file format to
NSF file format. Fair simple, isn’t it?
