Try Klutz, You'll Be Glad You Did

Klutz, Inc. has a variety of books in its collection that may be of interest to families. They publish almost every form of activity book imaginable, from showing people how to play games with string to making a pot holder. The Klutz books will even show you all of the tools that are desired. Books are fun and worded so that any age can understand and finish a project, which has proven many times to be a relief to travelling families.

On my family's last road trip; I purchased my son a Klutz travel book called "A Backseat Survival Kit". The activities in it lasted him for hundreds of miles with only a few minor tantrums. His displeasure mainly came from dropping markers on the floor and whining until he could reach them. Klutz even has books that encourage kids to learn to draw, and my son was a big fan of attempting to draw his favourite superheroes. There were moments that he'd show me a picture that he'd drawn and I'd have to guess several times until I figured out who it was. So he wants a little more practice with his drawing skills. I surely can't help him in that area as my drawing skills are limited to stick figures and basic shapes.

I've purchased some magnificent gifts for family members through Klutz. My niece just hit middle school last year and some of the activity books proved to be ideal fun for her at some sleepovers. She thanks me every time she sees me.

When we're not on a road trip, Klutz Inc. offers many other books. I've learned through some basic research that they do cater to home schooling, but, it has been my experience that anyone can learn and have fun with the topics they offer. There have been several times that when helping my child complete an activity or creation, I myself have been secretly pleased with the basic concepts that I have learned as well. Klutz has done an amazing job of putting together a wonderful collection of numerous topic and activities, and I am willing to bet that many families out there will join me in thanking them.

Although there are many ways of entertaining your child when on the road, there are few better ways than this, let's face it eye spy becomes pretty boring and predictable after 20 miles or so, It's well worth taking a look at and doesn't cost to much either, I often wonder just what we did without it and wish it was around when I was a boy.
