Who's that diva in those sharp, sexy leopard print heels? It could be you, if you find the right pair of heels and practice making those jungle cats prowl properly.
By now you probably know that fashion designers consider leopard print heels a classic accessory for every fashion-conscious woman. All you have to do is a quick Internet search to find dozens, possibly even hundreds, of leopard print high heels that can rock your entire wardrobe, from your favorite skinny jeans to your best little black dress.

The trick is to stalk your high heels with the same cunning and patience as the big leopards do. Here's how.

First, check out some of your favorite stores, including their online sites, to see what kinds of leopard print high heels they offer. Don't dismiss a seemingly traditional or mass-market site, such as Spiegel or Target, because you think they're not fashionable enough. For example, Spiegel sells a leopard print leather pump with a 3-inch stiletto heel that's a great height for learning to negotiate high heels. Plus the shoe is cute as well, with a bow tie on vamp of a rounded peep toe.

If even a 3-inch heel seems too high at first, look for some of the 2- to 2-1/4 inch styles that often come as sandals or mules. Wearing heels of this height for a while will set you up to tackle the next taller version. Go up slowly, from a 2-inch to a 3-inch heel. Don't think just because you've master those 2-1/4-inch thong heels that you're ready to leap into a pair for 5-1/2 stacked heels like Jessica Simpson's Tan/Black Leopard Fabric Ithika heels at Torrid. Those fierce shoes take some real preparation.

To conquer the heights like a genuine diva, practice walking in your high heels at home before you kick up your heels on a date. Start by just standing in front of a full-length mirror to get used to the heels, and then walk slowly across the room. Walk, turn, walk, stop without wobbling and you're ready to take those leopard print high heels out for some high life!
