(In the Name of Allah (SWT), Most Gracious, Most Merciful, all praise and thanks are due to Allah, Lord of the Realms and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger (SAWS) and upon all his family and companions)
AlHamdulillahi wa
kafaa, was-Salatu was-salamu `alaa `ibaadihi-lladheena Stafaa
As we end the
blessed month of Ramadan and continue with our lives, the special fragrant
nights and overwhelming days, the very month which we have passed, yes that is
right the beautiful month in which Quran was
revealed the month which is full of patience, forgiveness, taqwa, mercy, jihad
and of course freedom from hellfire.
Here we are
standing yet again on the mercy of our Lord, Allah (SWT) and wish to follow the
very particular regime that was started in the special month of blessings and
yet here we are standing pondering about certain facts and this is where you
are to be ascertain about the following answers:
ACHIEVEMENTS OF RAMADAN?
·
What have we achieved in Ramadan?
·
Have we learned the lessons of Taqwa
well and have we practiced our very learning with God fear?
·
Have we fought the inner self well
and have we conquered the desires and understood the real means of pleasure?
·
Have we made our actions worth the
reward or what we seek is the mercy, forgiveness and blessings of Allah (SWT)?
HAVE YOU?
Well, you know
Ramadan is the month for believers in which they are provided with a splendid
option to rejoice and regain their faith, the intention or the obligation which
all believers owe to Allah (SWT) for their complete undoubted submission and
this is where you are to know that there can be no other month greater than
Ramadan to achieve this.
But, quite opposing
to those when we come to the particular occasion after Ramadan it’s been notice
that there are many believers who take the very blessings of Ramadan and leave
the practice later on with no thought whatsoever and this is where we are to
consider the facts that the good deeds and practiced shall not be forgotten.
WHY RETURN TO SIN & EVIL?
Do not get back to the
life of sin and evil which makes it hard for one to revert as Ramadan provides
us with an opportunity to make the most out of it, it is the practice of many
of us who worship, pray and recite Quran on daily basis but only in Ramadan and
after it normally believers are seen doing the acts which are forbidden.
“And worship your Lord until there
comes you to the certainty [i.e. death].” [al-Hijr, 99]
Allah ta`ala
said, “So remain on a right course
as you have been commanded, [you] and those who have turned back with you [to
Allah].” [Hud, 112] And, “So take a straight course to Him and seek His forgiveness.”[Fussilat,
6] And the Prophet, (SWT) (sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam), said, “Say 'I believe in
Allah', then be steadfast.” [Muslim]
Make your deeds
count make a better self of you and this is not hard to achieve after the
entire month’s worship and devotion you are required to make certain practices
regular in your life and follow it strictly, May Allah (SWT) help you to
achieve the best knowledge and refrain you from the life of sin and evil.
