How to build an amazing home based business

Network marketing can be an exceptional way to own your own business without the expense of having to spend a lot of money on setting up the actual infrastructure of the business.

Direct selling is defined as the sale of a product or service from person to person, away from a fixed retail location, and is is firmly established in many countries as a respected means of earning an income. People in the direct selling industry are known as independent consultants, distributors or representatives. Many people have made fortunes in network marketing, and enjoy a freedom that most people only dream about.

This kind of business (also called network marketing or multi level marketing) can be very lucrative if you're willing to work hard, and put in the time it takes to grow your organization.

Network marketing can be an exceptional way to own your own business without the expense of having to spend a lot of money on setting up the actual infrastructure of the business.

There are many direct selling companies on the market, many with excellent products and compensation plans. For many people, working on a commission basis as you would with this type of company, is much more lucrative than working for an actual "written in stone" salary.

For many people, this industry represents a huge opportunity for corporate and financial independence. The fact that a representative of any of these companies is able to work and earn as little, or as much as they desire is extremely attractive.

There are various ways to build what's called a 'downline' in the direct selling industry, the concept being one of time leverage, instead of the traditional "work til you drop" attitude of those who start a business from scratch.

Time leverage is profitable, because the intent for each representative is to "hire a team" of motivated individuals, who want to work to grow their own businesses within the organization. These individuals can in turn, do exactly the same thing, to leverage their time. The direct selling industry is particularly attractive to those who would rather "call the shots" with regard to how much time they work, and earnings, instead of being told when to work, and how much they can make, as with the traditional working scenario.

An estimated 15.2 million people are involved in direct selling in the United States and more than 59 million worldwide. Most are women, though nearly a third are men or two-person teams such as couples.

More than 74 percent of the American public has purchased goods or services through direct selling. It's a universal way of buying and selling.
