Having humongous arms and torsos are called endomorphs. Although they have huge extremities their sizes are a little below than the average human. Their metabolism is so slow that gaining weight is such an easy task for them. A concrete example of this are professional weightlifters.
Mesomorphs are the lucky ones. They are naturally gifted with amazing bodies that they look like movie stars. Whether they go to gym or just rely on their metabolism to keep them fit, the end result is still the same and that is having nice bodies.
Ectomorphs on the other hand are the ones who will have the hardest time toning and increasing the size of their muscles. These people tend to be thin and long because their metabolism is always off the charts. They are also known as the hard-gainers because of their inability to quickly gain weight. Because of their fast metabolism these people stay thin even if they don’t do rigorous exercise or follow a strict diet.
Metabolism is very essential if you want to learn more about the basic types of the body. We are the ones who control our metabolism so if we want to be huge weightlifters or skinny musicians, it’s all up to us. Just remember that having a fast metabolism will make you lose more weight and having a slower one will keep the fat in your body making you larger than before.
Controlling our metabolism is still the key to being fit or being fat. That goes to show that the decision is still with us and if we want to be healthy for both ourselves and for our loved ones we will observe the proper diet and exercise that will provide us with optimum health.
