The Detrimental Effects of Programming in Your Network Marketing Business

When we have a toothache, the first solution that comes to our mind is to go to a dentist. Did you ever think of why this solution comes your mind so quickly. It is called programming. Programming affects every area in our lives including our network marketing business.
When we have a toothache, the first solution that comes to our mind is to go to a dentist. Did you ever think of why this solution comes your mind so quickly.  It is called programming. Programming affects every area in our lives including our network marketing business.

This really hit me when I got my first and only toothache a while back. I had never had a toothache before and the pain was excruciating.

My first thought was to go to the dentist, start using better toothpaste, a better toothbrush, etc...

I was homeless at the time, and I had no insurance, and no money. This led me to look for natural remedies.

I found out that teeth have the ability to heal themselves if we take proper care of them. I also found out that just about every tube of toothpaste has an ingredient called glycerin that actually prevents your teeth from healing themselves.I also found out that the teeth whitening process actually strips the protective enamel from your teeth.

I ended up getting rid of my toothache by using garlic, baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, and salt water.

That is when I thought about the source of most of our beliefs. Many times just hearing something enough time forms our belief about certain things.

This type of programming also affects the cash flow in your network marketing business. Do the following phrases sound familiar?

"You have to be at this event no matter what!"

"You are not serious about your business if you don't have ____________." Fill in the blank.

What are some other things that you may have heard repeatedly in your network marketing career.

Do these things cause you to run out and spend money that you do not have?

A lot of times we get so caught up in the hype that we do not even think about who has the most to gain from us when we buy a bunch of products or sign up for a bunch of services that we do not need.

Do you or your does your up-line benefit more?... or what about your company?

Sure some companies provide good sales materials and offer good products and services, but just remember that having thousands of distributors purchasing their products, services, and sales materials will always be more profitable for the company than it will be for distributor.

This is especially true if a distributor does not even use the excess stuff.

Then think about where the programming is coming from that is the foundation for your beliefs about your business.

Your company is focusing on increasing it's cash flow.  You should too.
