Dreaming Of The Nature Of God

Testimonies can release great power of the kingdom of God. In the past, the best I knew was how this can help me minister to others. There are so many people out there waiting for a miracle and I knew testimonies could help them. But then I found that it is much more than this. What is more then helping people is that the knowledge of God shall fill the earth like water filling the oceans. God reveals Himself with testimonies of His powerful works.

 

Testimony turns out to be a more fundamental principle that I thought. It is a fundamental principle in the kingdom of God that it can create enormous effect in any aspect of life. It is an essential tool and principle for the church to really disciple the nations. I feel that this must be taught with greater respect and be learnt in order to be applied to reality in greater amplitude.

 

Let me share with you a story that shows the power of testimony. I was in a conference in the US. There was a young lady who has a problematic leg. She couldn’t walk because of a car crash. We ministered to her and she was miraculously healed and walking.

 

After that, she went up to the stage and share the testimony. Another woman heard it and had her faith stirred up. She believe that God will do the same for her. The lady laid her hand on the woman and she was healed, also. The power of miracle is passed on with testimony.

 

The secret to a Christian life that is full of power and miracles rather than a dull and dead routine is to remember. Remember what the Lord did for you; remember what the Lord said to you; remember what the Lord revealed to you. This must be done in personal level as well as corporate level. When we remember what the Lord gave us and be a good steward of them, to the one that has, more will be given to him.

 

The church must hold on to our core values, core truths. In the process as we are trying to understand the essence of testimony and the importance to remember, we will be clearer about what these core truths are. And we must practice them in real life and release the power of Jesus on earth, because this is what we are called to do here.
