Dream Of The Nature Of God

Talking about testifying the Lord, in the beginning I thought what God wants me to grasp is merely its value – that is, what effect it can bring when I minister to the people who need miracles. However, the actual result is that the work of the Lord reveals His methodology and His methodology reveals His nature.

 

Therefore, witnessing the power of God is not only an effective ministry method, but also a fundamental principle of the kingdom of God. This principle has profound meaning and effect on every aspect of a Christian’s life. If the church of God is preach and testify the Gospel of the Kingdom of God in order to fulfill her great commission ‘go and disciple the nations’, then this principle must be preached and understood and applied on different aspects of personal and organizational situations.

 

By sharing testimony, power can flow from one to another. One time in a conference in Minnesota, a young lady with a crippled leg came forward. She was hurt in a traffic accident. She had surgical nail installed in her leg which caused pain and other troubles. We laid our hands on her and she got healed.

 

We encouraged her to share her testimony so that others can be benefited. A woman had a serious injury in her leg also came forward. After hearing the testimony, she believe that God is willing to heal her. We asked the lady who was just healed to lay her hand on this woman. The woman immediately got healed.

 

Remember what the Lord said to you and done for you. Do not let them pass away easily. This is testimony. It has great power in itself. The fact that whether you can remember these most valuable things will determine whether you can live a successful Christian life full of signs and wonders – the love of God manifested.

 

In the journey that we search for the nature of testimony and the priority of ‘remembering’, I believe we will understand that the church must begin to build up some core truth. And we must practice them in our culture so as to release the heavenly resource hidden in testimonies. Only with these resources can we fulfill our calling to be and to do that is to release the miraculous power of Jesus in our world.
