There are a lot of people suffering from allergic attacks. One way to avoid them is to know what allergens you are allergic to. You can have an allergen-stress test to know if you are allergic to the most common allergens known to man. You can also read this article to find out more ways to prevent this.
Constant sneezing, coughing and sometimes even struggling for oxygen – these are the symptoms of someone who just had an allergy attack. If you are allergic like some thirty-nine million people in the world today, you shouldn’t be suffering from these all the time. You simply need to eliminate the cause of an allergy attack whether inside or outside your home and you can stop the attacks altogether.

Since you spend most of your time inside the house, see to it that your dwelling place is free from irritants that might possible cause an attack. Rid your house of dust mites, pollens and molds through regular sweeping, dusting and cleaning. Start from the surface of tables and other furniture and then sweep your way to the carpets in the floor. Dust can easily get airborne so use wet cloth when wiping dusty surfaces.

Pets should be kept outdoors all the time to prevent attacks caused by fur and dander. The same thing goes with house plants. House plants can help bring nature to your home but you should also remember that a large pollen count can increase your risk to acquire allergies.

Some allergies can also be caused by dust and mites that live in your bedroom. You don’t want an attack to disturb your sleep at night so make sure you keep your bedsheets changed regularly. If you have skin allergies, stick to silk cloth since silk is safer. Window curtains should also be replaced twice or thrice a month to rid them of dusts.

When playing or strolling in park, avoid swampy and grassy places. These are the areas where molds and pollens are great in number. Watch out for insects such as bees as well because bee stings can trigger allergies too. You don’t have to actually limit your going outside but just make sure that you are protected from harmful irritants.

This may sound uncomforting but allergies can kill. Aside from that, most allergies attack without warning. That is the reason why you should always be vigilant especially if you have a history of allergy attacks. Your best defense so far is to learn how to get rid and stay away from known allergy triggers.
