There are air filter manufacturers, as they say, and then there are the really good manufacturers of air filters – the ones that have made advancements that benefit the whole trade and the industries whose safety relies on them. Now, their filters are fitted for application and in units that exist in all kinds of industries in pretty much every continent on the planet. These filter discs are made of a special kind of ceramic, which actually starts to work better when it reaches temperatures of 400 degrees centigrade and above. Their use is wide spread and hugely reliable: they can handle taking 100 per cent of the pollutants out of the hot gas streams generated by even the most dangerous industrial processes or waste removal techniques. The company that became air filter manufacturers by default now keeps the biohazard removal industry safe through all its incarnations.
So science wins – a good story for the enlightenment age we still live in. The company has continued to make its full systems, enhancing them with the continued advances it makes in the field of filtration science and setting the benchmark high for anyone else who wishes to follow. In order to make satisfactory air filters for hot gas applications, it seems, one must first have a good understanding of the applications: an understanding that this company gained through years in the trade before it made its first filter.
Air filter manufacturers are the backbone of some of the most important and high risk industries on earth. Without them, there would be no disposal of bio hazardous materials; there would be no high temperature alloy work; and there would be no successful stripping down of the scrap carcases of old machines. Truly, the world as it is could not work without them.
