For decades Uzi family of firearms have been legendary for their intimidating power, now the only official non-lethal weapons sanctioned by Uzi are available for private citizens. These include their own line of stun guns, stun pens and stun batons.

The legendary Uzi brand has long been known for its quality firearms, however, I bet you didn't know it also manufacturers a line of non-lethal weapons for self-defense. These products include the Uzi stun gun, stun pen and stun baton. The very first Uzi gun was engineered by an Israeli army captain in 1950 named Uziel “Uzi” Gal. Gal, a German-born Israeli gun designer, is recognized as the creator and namesake of the Uzi submachine gun. Since its launch Uzi weapons have been in service worldwide by army, secret services, police and special forces. Over the years the Uzi trademark has rightfully earned its reputation for quality and reliability. It is now possible for private citizens to possess an Uzi; an Uzi stun weapon, that is.

The Uzi brand stun gun is a low-amperage, high-voltage stun device powered by a 9-volt battery. Some models are rechargeable and plug directly into an electrical outlet. They operate by using high voltage and low amperage to make an assailant’s muscles involuntarily and rapidly contract and fill with lactic acid resulting in muscle pain, weakness and loss of balance. Many have the false belief that it is the high voltage of stun guns that stops an assailant. That is a misnomer as voltage doesn't hurt anyone; it is the amperage. One amp will kill a person, however, an Uzi stun gun has only 5-8 milliamperes (mAs), which is one thousandth of an amp.

The effects of the Uzi stun gun also include blocking the attacker’s muscular electrical impulses, as well as stupefying him by hindering his equilibrium. The disorientation experienced will only disable him temporarily and will not cause any lasting or fatal injury to the assailant. Additionally, you shouldn't be afraid about being shocked should the attacker be touching you when the device is used. The current simply will not pass to you.

Uzi stunners come in a variety of styles: mini stun guns, standard straight or curved stun guns, stun pens and stun batons. Depending on the model you choose the voltage can range from 100,000 to over 2 million volts of stopping power! In addition, UZI stun weapons carry a lifetime guarantee that covers the entire unit. If your stun gun should stop functioning for any reason other than needing a battery replacement, consumers can ship the non-functioning unit back to the manufacturer for a replacement.

Lastly, Uzi stun guns make outstanding going away gifts for that son or daughter who is leaving home for the first time to attend college or is moving out on their own. They are also great for Christmas, birthdays and any other time of the year when you just want to say “I love you.”
