You
could be a Chocolatier,
consume 11 pounds per year, become a fan on Facebook, visit a
chocolate-themed amusement park, belong to the Chocolate-of-the-Month
club, or even spritz on some chocolate scented perfume. It's sweet,
it's irresistible, and needless to say, it's definitely in. People
don't just like chocolate, they love
it. “Give me chocolate or give me death.” Chocolate is such a
part of society that the term “Choco-holic” was accepted by
Merriam-Webster. It's everywhere in pop culture, consider some major
American holidays: Valentines Day, Easter, Halloween, Christmas, is
chocolate in the picture? You bet it is! So now that the holiday
season is rapidly approaching, what would be the ultimate present? A
chocolate
gift box,
of course.

The
X-Factor

But
what is it about chocolate that people love so much; its versatility?
If you can imagine it, it can be made into chocolate: Cakes, shakes,
ice cream, coffee, milk, puddings, cookies, cereals, brownies, and
covering most fruits, nuts and grains. It comes in soft or hard,
white, milk or dark, a filling or a topper, a syrup, solid or
cascading from a fountain. Or maybe it's the unmistakable feel-good
feeling associated with chocolate that people love so much?
Scientists have long said that chocolate triggers a part of the brain
that affects mood. It produces a comforting, almost euphoric feeling.
A feeling that some believe to be very addictive. But what about the
pure novelty of chocolate, could that in itself lead to a chocolate
obsession? Chocolate has long been given as a gift. As far back as
the Aztecs, chocolate was presented as a sign of affection. For
hundreds of years, chocolate was the desired gift of European
royalty. Chocolate
gift boxes
were introduced in the 1700s in Massachusetts and have been given as
gifts ever since. There are plenty of reasons why someone would fall
in love with this alluring treat. So it goes without saying that a
chocolate
gift box
would make a perfect present for any age, gender or occasion.

Considering
the chocolate-lovers phenomenon, it's no wonder why chocolate
gift boxes
make the perfect present for almost anybody. Chocolate is everywhere
and yet it feels extraordinary, almost fashionable. It evokes so many
pleasing thoughts and emotions. The elegance, rich colors, distinct
smells, the variety of shapes and sizes, it all comes together to
create the ideal experience. And remember, presentation is key for
any gift. Colorful wrapping paper assisted by a larger-than-life bow
is the sign of a skilled gift giver. Possibly the most delightful
characteristic of chocolate (besides eating it) is the presentation
itself. You could imprint messages or dye it different colors.
Chocolate can be functional, cute or funny. Anything you want it to
be. Not only are you giving an object that can be admired and
appreciated but no matter what it is, it's still the most amazing
gift of all, chocolate. There are so many unique and wonderful ways
to design chocolate that it's almost too pretty to eat... almost.
