The first thing is to find out the thing that smells through the smelling sense of your nose. After finding out the item you should remove it from that place and dispose it off.  Once removed from the place clean the area with the warm water and also use antibacterial agent. Keep that place open to the air or you can place a bowl of vinegar and leave it in the odor area.
If you are the person who has pet in the house, sometimes the urine stains unclean smell bad. The area should be first cleaned with the towel then use an enzymatic cleaner to get rid of the odor. When the area becomes dry clean it with the use of baking soda or with any other carpet powder specifically for the pet stains.
Sometimes vegetable like cauliflower, etc may smell bad for them you can use tablespoon of lemon juice to the cooking water. If your cutting board smells you should clean it with the antibacterial soap and baking powder and then with water. If your sink smells then take some detergent with the hot water and pour it into the sink. Even though after doing this the sink smells you need to call for a plumber.
Your refrigerator smells bad the one thing you need to do is take out all the items from it and thoroughly clean all the parts of the refrigerator with the combination of the bleach and water or the baking soda and the water. Then you need to clean the items kept with the clean cloth and place them in their place.
Does your carpet smell poor? If yes you need not worry there is a solution. Spread the baking soda on the floor and leave it for a night. The next day vacuum it. After this your floor will get a fresh and pungent smell.
For garbage disposal odor you need to take the mixture of hot water, baking soda and vinegar pour it. And then to make the area smell fresh you can apply some lemon juice or orange rinds to eradicate the smell.
