You furthermore may grasp how heavily I worth partnering, venturing and collaboration as key leverage points. The "me too" era of business is gone...Following the group with a "herd mentality" can solely run your business into the ground. I simply finished reading the 64 page "IBM Global CEO Study 2006" in that 750 CEO's of leading firms from around the world were interviewed. The results of the survey merely confirmed what I have been evangelizing for years...Collaborate, Innovate and Dominate (my quote not IBM's). At N2growth we facilitate our shoppers produce market dominant companies and a big part of our success formula is showing our shoppers the value using collaboration to drive innovation...The underside line is that nothing can be additional meaningful to your business within the months and years ahead than your ability to excel in these 2 areas.

Collaboration starts internally, but as the IBM report emphasizes it's essential to "defy collaboration limits" and appearance for collaborative opportunities outside your company, spanning verticals, across geographic boarders and across competitive boundaries (note my link to competitor IBM). The reality is that great concepts are rarely incubated in an exceedingly vacuum. New concepts, different views and inventive approaches can be used to refine organic initiatives in ways in which that you may not ever believe if left to your own thinking.

The IBM report clearly showed that CEOs around the world have embraced collaboration and innovation. They understand that their success will lie in their ability to continue to feature worth in new ways that, in new markets and with new products and services. CEO's in these days's business world would like to step-up and understand that they need to guide by example and drive a cultural and philosophical innovation revolution inside their companies. Senior executives ineffective of collaborating and innovating can have a very limited shelf life moving forward. I think Kluas Kleinfeld, President and CEO of Siemens AG place it best when he said: "You can only win the 'war' with ideas, not with spending cuts."

The moral of this story is do not realize yourself caught within the innovation gap or bring to an end from collaborative advancements. Remember...Collaborate, Innovate and Dominate!
