Westquip Honored with ASEC Certification

The ASEC award is a direct means by which numerous measurements are taken in regards to every aspect of materials handling, from service department paperwork flow to administration and building layout. Toyota has set forth this certification as a standard for excellence in service to Toyota forklift customers.

It takes a sincere effort and dedication of all the employees at a dealership to pass the criteria to become eligible for an ASEC award. The dealership is measured and graded on 132 different supporting operations within the service and parts departments.

Areas that are reviewed include facilities, training, safety, delivery, parts inventory, service vehicles, and equipment. Each of these areas are completely inspected, reviewed, and documented. Areas of deficiency are noted, action plans are created to correct those deficiencies and the areas are then re-evaluated and graded to ensure compliance.

The ASEC award criteria was created to help increase the level of efficiency and improve the overall service and parts operations of dealerships, which greatly enhances the level of customer service and satisfaction that dealerships provide.
