Geoffrey Beene Fragrances- Always remember able

Geoffrey Beene was an American Fashion designer. He was born on August 30, 1924 in Haynesville, Louisiana. He started his career in medicine but his dream was not his. So he dropped it. His feeling moved towards fashion career so, in 1947, he entered in the Traphagen School of Fashion of New York. After that he started to work at a number of fashion houses in both New York and Paris. After gaining enough experience he opened his own house named Geoffrey Beene Inc. He opened his office at Seventh Avenue in Manhattan. Like the celebrities Lady Bird Johnson, Pat Nixon, Nancy Reagan, Faye Dunaway and Glenn Close were his Client and the house creates many of the dresses for them. All the designs created by the Geoffrey Beene Inc. were appreciated by the people. His creative women's sports accessories are also known and appreciated around the world. His company Logo is two times GB which is stands for Geoffrey Beene Gives Back.

At that time he became most popular designer among the all. He spent more than 40 years of his life in the fashion industries. That is the reason in 1995; he got an honor with a nomination for ‘Designer of the Century and beyond’ by Fashion Group International. Along with the dresses he also created fragrances and become well-established name in the perfume and cologne industry. In 1975, he started to introduce fragrances. His Florals are most popular among the people and still remain in demand. The first perfume launched by the Geoffrey Beene Inc. is Grey Flannel for men. It was introduced in 1975. Grey Flannel is become most popular designer floral which have violet, iris, narcissus, rose, sage and mimosa in the middle notes. The base note consist almond, oak moss, Tonka bean, cedar and vetiver and the top note contains petit grain, lemon, galbanum, bergamot and neroli. In 1997, the house introduced an extraordinary, manly and sophisticated scent which is named Eau de Grey Flannel for men. On the designing of that scent, patchouli, eucalyptus, sage and lavender are used for its middle notes. The base notes comprise with musk, vetiver and sandalwood and top notes include orange, caraway, lemon, star anise, cypress and cedar. Some other Cologne launched by the Geoffrey Beene Bowling Green for men in 1986.

Not only for men, Geoffrey Beene also famous for his creation for women. In 1998, Geoffrey Beene for women was the fragrance for women launched by the house with the help of the designer Ron Winnegrad and Michel Gouges. This creation got a great hit in the market and gets many reviews. Its middle notes comprise with rose, jasmine, geranium and violet and the top notes includes bergamot green notes and coriander. Another exotic perfume for women introduced by the house is Chance for women. Its launching year was 1994. The fragrance of this perfume is very feminine and the base notes of the Scent are woody in nature. Grey Flannel and bowling green were his two personally developed Cologne for men.  He is not known only for his design but also known to be as true humanitarian. He donated a huge amount for the sufferers of Alzheimer's disease and cancer. On September 28 of 2004, he died due to complications from pneumonia. It was an end of historical designer.
