Security Guard- Jobs they Execute

Security Guards are the persons whose presence has become very important for the security of your business as well as house these days. People are more worried about their security now as they now that crime rate is increasing day by day with a great speed.  They have various functions which they perform in their duty hours. They attend visitors and help them by directing them to the accurate area location while guarding that area is automatically comes in the first priority of their job.

Basically, becoming a  security guard  is not an easy job. It requires lots of attention, sharp memory and various skills including knowledge of several weapons. Their main job is to monitor the guests and all the visitors which come in their area of surveillance. Only relying upon security cameras is not a good decision especially in case where more and more public visits every day. They should have photographic memory so that they do not forget anyone’s face after seeing it first time. This helps in reminding when the same person tries to act smart and do some wrong activity in their presence.

In his duty hours, he is allowed to enforce the permission of the establishment which he is serving. He enforces regulations to maintain the law and order or public events on which he is working. Many times it happens that the law enforces by them get clashed with other law enforcement agencies which leads to the situation of disputes. In such case, anyone of the party has to get convinced on the decision.

Hence, you can see that they have several different job functions other than just standing as a security guard. In many security guard companies, there are patrolling jobs, where the employees are assigned an area of patrolling and they have to go there for regular checkups. A security guard company has various functions which they perform for the security of their clients.
