We Are Having a Party!

Here comes the end the year and a fresh start of the next year. To all of us, my friends and me, this year has been full of ups and downs. Most days of the year, we felt like taking the roller coaster, adventurous but meaningful. A smart man once said that wise people should learn lessons from history and get ready for the future. This is exactly what lingers in our minds. As a result, after spending several days thinking about the past, we all agreed to pay more attention to the coming future. And somehow, we are going to have a party to celebrate the coming of the new year and hope we may have good luck during this new year.

 

We are having a party!

 

I can't tell if the party is going to be more interesting or the preparation is more funny. All I know is that we were enjoying the whole process of preparing this party. At first, it was John, the smart guy of our team, said that we should do a makeup party, which was going to be more entertaining. This was a idea favored by all of us. Once the theme was decided, we needed to get everything in its place.

 

This was really the funny part here to get things for the party. The place of holding this party was easy to find. But then preparing the trivial party goods were really killing us.

 

We should have enough drinks for different people, champagne, wine, cocktail, soda... After the drinks were ready, food became another problem. Should we have enough food or just snacks would be fine. People had many different ideas about the food and they had their own favorite. At last, we compromised with each other and decided to cook steak as the major course and some other dishes as snacks. Anyway, food shouldn't be the main activity at a party.

 

These were the two basic things for our party. Another important one was the choosing of masks. We would do a makeup party, of course the masks and costumes are necessary. How can we get so many masks? Once again, smart John played his wisdom and found us a online shop selling many a mask. We booked the masks with very cheap price and we would have our own characters. By the way, mine is very cute and seductive feather eye mask, which can be seen at many famous movies.

 

Now, every thing is almost done and we have people visiting.
