A Gift To consider For Your Kids

Since there is a myriad of fantastic holiday gifts out there for kids it can be rather challenging to find the right one for your own child. One gift that we reviewed this year was the Kid Trax Red Fire Engine. At first we were somewhat nervous about this child's toy since it is actually a movable fire engine and is a ride-on toy. In addition, the recommended age for this toy is 2 to 5 years. At this point, we did not thank that to many parents would allow their children in this age bracket to play with a moving ride on vehicle. That is what caused to really discern whether or not this would be an appropriate gift this year for our child.


A Moving Fire Engine

The Kid Trax is described as an electric ride-on with a two speed transmission. There is, of course, the fire truck, but then there is also a megaphone, a spray hose, a battery with charger, and there are even removable rescue items. While we were still nervous about letting our child ride on the Kid Trax, we were at least relieved that the toy comes with various items that can actually provide a learning experience for children. They will actually be able to see what firemen carry and how they rescue people from a fire.

How Fast Will It Travel?

Although, we were not to crazy about the idea of our young child riding around in a moving fire engine, the Kid Trax Red Fire Engine that is, only goes around five miles per hour. This is not really that fast at all. Even a very sheltering or protective parent would not consider this speed to excessive. To be honest, a child pushing himself on a moving object with his or her legs would be about the same speed.

A Fun Toy?

By now we felt better about letting our children ride on the Kid Trax, and we even liked the idea that it didn't go very fast. But that's not all that surprised us. The Kid Trax Red Fire Engine comes with flashing emergency lights, a working fire hose, as well as a lighted dashboard. All of this spells a great time for any kid who will surely want to spend a lot of time on it.

Overall we came to the conclusion that the Kid Trax Red Fire Engine is not only safe but extremely fun for our child making it a spectacular holiday gift. It is safe, fun to play with, and educational as well. There is always a chance that this could even inspire you child to become a fireman in the future. I actually wish there was such an amazing toy to play with back in the day when I was a child. The battery that powers the megaphone and lights will last up to ten hours. With all of these great features and the fact that you can ride and drive it will bring a large smile to your child's face!
