In case you do not know yet, a livery is a stable where horses are kept. It can also be a place where you store your vehicles. In other words, a livery is a horse barn. If you have horses and you want to build your own livery yard, these tips might be of great help;
1. Make sure that your livery is big enough to provide
shelter for your horses. The bigger the livery the better so your horses would
not be crowded and there would be enough room for each of them.
2. Keep your livery in a friendly atmosphere. If you
will hire people to work for you in your livery, you want to make sure that
everybody gets along with everybody so you won’t have a problem.
3. Your horses should have each of their own space so they
won’t be crowded and that they can be moved out easily without any hassle. You
do not want your horses to interfere with the other horses because they might
end up biting and kicking each other.
4. You must also have enough space for your yard so
you can bring out your horses and have them tied there so they can eat fresh
grass.
5. Make sure that your entire livery has a fence. You
do not want your horses to go astray and so no one can get in your property.
This is an important thing so you won’t lose any of your horses.
6. You also need to visit your livery as much as you
can. This is because you want to be involved in all of the things that are
happening inside your livery and that you will have a better idea on what
problems to solve as well as the facilities that need repairing.
