In society, some individuals lack ORIGINALITY, or a willingness to be ORIGINAL and AUTHENTIC. What is worse, is that instead of WORK HARD to make themselves up to overcome this inadequacy, they like to "wing it" (like the Americans would say) by "borrowing" ideas - and even the words - of others.

In society, some individuals lack ORIGINALITY, or a willingness to be ORIGINAL and AUTHENTIC. What is worse, is that instead of WORK HARD to make themselves up to overcome this inadequacy, they like to "wing it" (like the Americans would say) by "borrowing" ideas - and even the words - of others. By this I mean they "daring facedly" take somebody else's ideas (or exact words), that they will have read, or heard elsewhere and pass it off as their own. The individuals I refer to have NO respect whatsoever for intellectual property in any form. They are doing NOT abide by any code of ethics. Of course, some are "sincerely ignorant" of copyright laws governing how abundant of different individuals's works they'll use, while not obtaining permission from the owners! Lack Of Originality Breeds Mediocrity The result is that many of people who observe them do this, feel no would like to author their own original ideas and ideas, believing that whatever others have put down or created can be freely place to use. They therefore don't bother to expend intellectual energy developing themselves to be original and authentic - particularly since there appears to be no penalty for abusing alternative people's copyright priviledges. And that's one of the key reasons why standards fall therefore badly in societies where these practices are rampant. But We tend to Still Have Individuals Who Are TRULY Original However there are - and can perpetually be exceptions. As an example, whenever I listen to the Auto Medics phase of the Continental Breakfast Show on a number one radio station here in Nigeria, I KNOW what I hear Kunle, Ben and Mike say "on air" are their OWN ideas, in their own words. You may NOT catch - and I can say this from having carefully "studied" their comments - any of them sounding like he's "reciting" somebody else's description of a car part/element or its functions. They UNDERSTAND what they're talking regarding, and have no difficulty finding words to clarify it in "simple English" for a non-technical person to grasp. They are doing not bamboozle their clients or audiences. The Auto Medics consultants communicate "which means" to their listeners. That is why you can not get BORED paying attention to them make a case for how your automotive works, how it ought to work, and what possible causes could be preventing it from working normally. These guys have a MASTERY of each the theoretical and the sensible aspects of the topic they discuss. Till we have a tendency to begin to brazenly rebuke people who FAIL to treat other people's intellectual works with respect, we have a tendency to are doubtless to CONTINUE to suffer a lack of fine quality intellectual capital in our country. However I might add that IF we tend to change our ATTITUDES, those nice achievements that appear to occur with startling regularity in the USA, and other developed societies, will NO LONGER be "impossible" here.
