Getting strategies adopted by relevant people is usually critical for success. Most strategies not only need to be done; but they need to be adopted by the people involved. A strategy is adopted when the people involved no longer see the strategy as something new. People adopt and make strategies happen. Getting strategies adopted by relevant people is usually critical for success. In some cases, a successfully adopted strategy may be essential for survival.

Most strategies not only need to be done; but they need to be adopted by the people involved. Consequently a key part of implementing a strategy has to be a means to make it easy for people to both implement and adopt the strategy.

A strategy is adopted when the people involved no longer see the strategy as something new. A simple test is to ask a person how they do a job that is directly affected by the new strategy. When their explanation details the new strategy, you know the strategy has been adopted. In other words, the strategy is their preferred way to work.

People adopt and make strategies happen. Adoption happens in people’s heads. So strategy implementation methods and tools need to make it easy for people to understand and do what they need to do.

TASKey has developed and validated a distributed management approach that enables all stakeholders to be relevantly involved with both the implementation and adoption of strategies. By making it easy for relevant people at relevant times to understand what is happening and what they need to do, adjustments required to implement and adopt the strategy occur progressively and in context.

The implementation and adoption of a strategy requires complex dynamic alignment and synchronization plus easy access to relevant timely information. This is extremely difficult to do manually, but it is relatively easy to do with smart software.

TASKey has developed and validated a web and mobile software tool (called Me2Team) that transparently handles complex alignment and synchronization in the background. Using Me2Team software, people can easily focus on what is happening and what they need to do. Real-time progress reporting and relevant feedback about changes and what other people are doing are also provided.

By embedding most of the complex processes in software that can be easily accessed anywhere at any time, users require little training or effort to achieve outstanding results. With less complexity and receiving relevant timely information from each stakeholder’s perspective, it is significantly easier to get strategies implemented and adopted.
