The battery can be recharged using at a renewable source powered by Vettenfall. When you switch over to Hybrid mode, the diesel engine and electric motor combine to perform at an optimal balance. Finally, when the Power mode is selected, the car is designed to give exemplary performance using the combined power.

The battery costs is certainly slightly expensive than a regular Volvo car engine but at the same time the fuel costs are likely to be reduced to one third of the regular trim of Volvo 60. For charging the plug-in hybrid you can use your regular household electricity socket and the entire process could take five hours to get your car fully charged up.

While there is still some more time for the Volvo V60 hybrid plug in trim to be launched, the current Volvo V60 is well designed coupe with a sporty look. The look and feel of the car is similar to the S60 saloon. The best part of the car is the extra rear space offered for passengers.
