The former centre of Maratha Empire, the city of Pune is the second largest city of Maharashtra. Pune has one of the most favorable in the country.Cheapest flights to pune are available from all across the country.The city is well connected through the Pune International Airport, rail network and buses.

The former centre of Maratha Empire, the city of Pune is the second largest city of Maharashtra. Pune has one of the most favorable in the country and the weather ranges from 35 to 8 degree Celsius. The annual rainfall during the year is about seven twenty mm. The major languages spoken in the city are Marathi, English and Hindi. The religious communities in the city comprises of Hindus, Jains, Marathis, Brahmins, Gujaratis and Marwadis. There are a lot of Hindu temples in the cities which include Paravati temple, Chaturshringi Temple and Pataleshwar Temple which also happens to be the oldest temple in the city and is very famous amongst Hindus.

 The famous tourist attractions in the city include

1)      Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum- The museum  has a collection of amazing Indian arts and crafts

2)      Tribal Museum- The museum has some of the best artifacts collection in the city

3)      Mahatma Phule Museum- The museum has a wide collection of industrial products, agricultural and handicraft articles.

4)      National War Museum

5)      Vishram Bagh Wada- It is known for elaborate wooden façade.

6)      Saras Baag- It is a famous Ganesh Temple

7)      Aga Khan Palace- It is one of the most visited palaces by the tourists.

8)      Parvati Hill temples

9)      Pataleshwar Caves

 

Besides this, there is a famous beach named Diveagar which is about 180 kilo meters away from Pune. There are hill stations as well that include Malshej Ghat and Rajmachi.

The city is well connected through the Pune International Airport, rail network and buses. Pune flights are really convenient.
