Similarly Sky Broadband is offered through two levels viz Sky Broadband Everyday and Sky Broadband Unlimited with speeds up to 20 Mbps.

On the other hand, Broadband is also offered through fibre optic network by providers such as BT and Virgin Media. Virgin Media is known to offer one of the fastest broadband services in UK at a download speed of up to 50 Mbps while on the anvil is the launch of yet another broadband service which will offers speeds up to 100Mbps. BT has recently gone ahead and launched BT Infinity which offers a download speed of up to 40 Mbps. BT Infinity is offered in two levels viz. BT Infinity 1 and BT Infinity 2 the difference being the upload speeds and usage limits.

With the UK Government doing its level best to expand broadband internet services in UK, Broadband connectivity is set to soar in both city areas as well as rural areas in UK. In an recent announcement, BT plans to provide BT Infinity in almost 41 towns which means almost 300,000 businesses and residential customers will enjoy broadband at a speed of up to 40 Mbps.
