When organising a wedding day, one detail that always gets left until last is the wedding favours. With a great number of ceremonies racking up hundreds of guests, providing wedding favours for each of them can be an expensive job, not to mention the hassle of choosing something for everyone.
When planning a marriage, one detail that generally gets left until last is the wedding favours. It's going to be difficult to know who to buy for. With a great number of weddings racking up hundreds of guests, supplying wedding favours for each of them can be an expensive task, not to mention the trouble of selecting something for everybody.

This helpful guide will help you pick your wedding favours without breaking the budget.

Wedding Party First!

On top of the shortlist of wedding favour recipients has to be your wedding party. Bridesmaids, groomsmen, immediate relatives, anybody close to you who has made a big effort to make your wedding day exceptional. This has to be your priority as these are the individuals who will be by your side for the duration of your wedding day. Engraved baggage tags and compact mirrors make popular gift selections, as do wedding cufflinks and wine bottle stoppers if you would like to pay slightly more money.

Who Else?

This very much is determined by how many people you are anticipating. If you're having a smaller, more intimate function, it can be quite possible to give everyone a gift without breaking the bank. If it?s a larger scale celebration with more people, you may want to think about being a bit more selective. If you're inviting less guests to the ceremony, you can give favours to them as a thank you for witnessing your vows. If you want everyone to have a keepsake, you can consider buying things on a larger scale to try and save some funds.

Which gift to buy?

If you plan to go all the way and buy everyone a wedding favour, bear price in mind. If you're buying them last and have already spent a majority of your budget, there are still many methods of gifting something special without having to plough more cash in.

Also remember that people aren?t going to want to carry around big bulky items all day, so get something that can fit in pockets or a handbag otherwise you?ll find yourself with a lot of them still left at the reception.

If you?ve been a guest at a wedding before, just think about what wedding favours they used and what your response to them was. If a gift was particularly successful, try your individual take on that concept.
