If you have a Pomeranian dog and if you wish to have some quality time in training your Pomeranian, first advice that you should get yourself is to keep in mind all basic behaviors of this particular breed of the dog. Along with several of the dog training tips, first comes the respect for a Pomeranian which will help establish a healthy rapport between you and your dog; second comes the positive approach in imparting dog training. Once you establish a good connect with your Pomeranian, it will help you and your dog to understand the basics of behaviors at a fast pace. Punishment or ill treating your dog will never help in a good training plan; as such dogs obey for a reward not a punishment.

You can find a lot of training books either online or copies; to begin with; start with a good rapport and trust factor which should work both ways to a large extent. As mentioned earlier, keep something aside as a treat for rewards for every act accomplished. When you have a perfect coordination between you and your Pomeranian, you should be able to set up a good control on the dog, this can also be acquired while imparting basic techniques of training such as Sit, Stay, go etc. Such basic techniques go through a long way in helping you till the end of the training and will help get your Pomeranian's complete attention.

After the basics, which means by now you should have developed complete trust from your dog, better coordination and the dog should be able to obey all basic commands; you could move on to the advanced training including various other type of commands which control the manners of dog behavior; you should study your dog's behavior before you move on with this training such as observing the poop timing, what it does before certain behavior like going out in the parks, dealing with strangers etc. as always, make sure you have enough supply of rewards so that you can quickly issue the tokens of good techniques adopted which will further speed up the training progress.

One the most important aspects of Dog training is to help the dog deal with boredom which is the cause of majority of issues like destroying carpets, barking, digging or licking. Once you have understood your Pomeranian's behavior pattern, get your pet accustomed to the time off you so that it can deal with its boredom well. Ensure to let your dog know where to pick up toys from, where to get food and how to go around the backyard either to play or engage in dog liking acts like digging. This would help you curb the bad manners of your dog and help bring up a well cultured pet.
